Frequently asked questions
Who this coaching is for, how it works, what it costs, and what actually changes. If your question is not here, the first conversation is free and there is no pitch.
Who this is for
High-achieving Christian entrepreneurs and executives. Founders, owners, and leaders who have already built something real and are quietly paying for it: in their energy, their marriage, their presence at home, or their walk with God. Past clients include agency owners, financial advisors, realtors, orthodontic practice owners, insurance leaders, and corporate executives.
No. There is no revenue or headcount threshold. The common thread is that you have reached the point where more hours and more revenue stopped fixing what is actually wrong. If you are admired from the outside and exhausted on the inside, you are in the right place, whatever the size of the business.
Yes. This is gospel-centered coaching, not business coaching with a spiritual flavor. Everything we work on, from identity and worth to leadership and decision-making, is built on a Christian worldview. If that is not your foundation, this will not be the right fit, and I would rather tell you that now.
Yes. My practice is built around Christian men in high-pressure ownership and leadership roles. The content, the stories, and the way I coach are all shaped for that room.
Most of the men I work with said exactly that before we started. This is not for people who are struggling to succeed. It is for people who have already succeeded and are carrying a cost nobody else can see: the mind that will not turn off, the family getting the leftovers, the faith that feels more like a transaction than a relationship. If the outside looks like winning and the inside does not feel like it, that is the signal.
A typical business or executive coach works on strategy, systems, and performance. I work one level underneath that. We find the beliefs driving the behavior, usually some version of fear, control, or working to prove your worth, and replace them with an identity that is already settled in Christ. The business results tend to follow from that shift. They rarely come from another tactic.
How it works
I act as a strategic thinking partner and trusted advisor, not a project manager for your calendar. We surface the specific patterns driving your stress and your business bottlenecks, name them honestly, and work on replacing them with something that lasts. Expect direct conversation, not generic frameworks. The business, the family, and your walk with God all come into the room, because they were never separate to begin with.
No. It is coaching, and I am not a licensed therapist. It does go deeper than most business coaching because we deal with identity, belief, and faith alongside leadership and strategy. Several clients have told me it did more for them than talk therapy had, but it is not a substitute for clinical mental health care, and I will say so if I think you need that.
Both, on purpose. The whole premise is that your results at work, the way you lead, the way you show up at home, and your relationship with God are one life, not four lanes. A session might move from a hiring decision to the fear underneath it to what you believe about God's provision, because that is usually where the hiring decision actually lives.
It is an ongoing advisory relationship, not a fixed-length course or a one-off workshop. Cadence and format are set in our first conversation based on what you need. Coaching is done remotely, so where you live does not matter.
The engagement is one-on-one with you. Clients consistently report that their teams change anyway: more clarity, more ownership, less dependence on the owner. That happens because you lead differently, not because I coach them directly.
The approach
It means I do not separate spiritual growth from business growth. Your identity and worth are received in Christ, not earned through results, and we apply that directly to how you lead, how you decide, and how you carry pressure. It is specific, not vaguely spiritual.
It is the idea at the center of everything I do. Most high achievers are performing without realizing it: longer hours, bigger goals, saying yes to everything, all to prove something to themselves or to God. Leading from your worth means operating from an identity that is already secure, so the drive stays and the fear goes. Clients tell me this is what actually changed their stress levels. It was never a productivity hack.
That gap is exactly what we work on. Most of the men I coach have solid theology and still feel more like a disappointment to God than a son He delights in, especially under pressure. Knowing it in your head and experiencing it on a Tuesday afternoon with a payroll problem are two different things. We close that gap.
Yes. It is built on God at the center, worth received rather than earned, and stewardship: the business, the results, and the resources belong to God, and you are the steward. Expect the conversation to draw on Scripture and a Christian worldview throughout.
Results
Clients have reported 50 to 80 percent revenue growth, roughly 30 additional days of personal margin per quarter, and far fewer working hours, including men who went from 70-plus hour weeks to a fraction of that. The changes they talk about most, though, are the ones at home: more patience, more presence with their kids, and a kind of peace they had stopped expecting. Individual results vary and nothing is guaranteed.
In my experience the two move together. One client grew revenue 35 percent a year for three consecutive years while working less. Another doubled his business while cutting his working days. When fear and performance stop driving your decisions, you make better ones. Peace and growth are not a trade-off.
It depends on the man and on what we are working through. Some clients describe a single conversation as life-changing. The deeper shifts, and the compounding business results, tend to show up over 12 to 18 months. I do not promise a timeline.
That is a consistent outcome, and it is not a side effect. Your presence with your wife and kids is part of how I define success for you, so it is squarely in scope. Being less short-tempered, more available, and fully home when you walk through the door is usually one of the first things to change.
Getting started
A free, four-minute assessment: twenty questions that score you across leadership, energy, rest, presence at home, and the gap between what you know about God and what you experience. You get a score, see which of the five is costing you the most, and walk away with one specific action for the week. Your answers stay between you and me. Take it here.
Start a conversation. Answer a few questions here, or use the contact page if you would rather keep it short. I read every submission personally and reply within two business days. The conversation itself is 30 to 45 minutes, free, and there is no pitch. We look at what is actually driving you and whether working together makes sense.
Yes. The first conversation is free. It is an honest look at where you are, not a sales call, and either way you will hear back from me.
No, but availability is limited on purpose. I work with a small number of men each year, and most come by invitation or referral. If what you have read here resonates, reach out directly. I read every one.
Pricing is not published because it depends on the engagement. We will talk about investment in the first conversation, once we both know whether it is a fit.
My book, Never Enough: How Christian Entrepreneurs Find Peace Without Losing Their Edge, is the long form of everything on this site. The Resources page has articles on leadership, rest, presence, and faith, and you can get one a week by email from the form at the bottom of any page.
