The other day I was driving my Jeep Wrangler when it started shaking uncontrollably.
At first, it seemed like a one-time thing.
Then it happened again… and again.

Eventually, even the smallest bump in the road would send the whole thing into what felt like a seizure, rattling violently for 5 to 15 seconds.

That may not sound like much, but when you feel like your car is completely out of control on a highway, 15 seconds is a long time.

It got to the point where it felt dangerous to drive.

I took it to the shop & turns out the previous owner had upgraded the tires, to massive 37-inch ones, but never upgraded the suspension to support the added size and weight.

Looking back, there were small signs of issues that I ignored. A few small shakes that made me feel like something was off, but nothing felt urgent.
