Five Questions to Heighten Your Focus, Increase Results, & Get You Out of Your Own Way

Powerful questions create powerful results.

When you ask the right questions, you get answers that create focus, improve results, and allow you to get out of your own way.

Here are a handful of questions as you think about 2025 that will help you do just that.

1) What are your 3-5 biggest desires or goals for your business over the next 12 months?

Odds are whatever you wrote down is what you think you can get… if you want to step into what’s truly possible, ask yourself what you think might take 3 yrs. to achieve and make THOSE your 12-mo. goals.

2) What are your 3-5 biggest worries, concerns, or fears about your business over the next 12 months?

It’s okay to have fears and worries. The first step to limiting their power is naming them. Ultimately though, these are areas you’ll need coached through to ensure you aren’t leading from a place of fear because fear-based action always leads to mediocre results.

3) What’s your breakthrough goal?

If you were only allowed to focus on one goal next year, which goal would be most likely to help ensure that every other goal was accomplished—even if you were not allowed to work on them?

4) If you are disappointed with your results in a year, why will that be?

Let’s be honest, we always know in advance why we’ll fail at something. What’s the most common way you obstruct the things you say you want to achieve? This gives you awareness of what to watch out for and recognize when you’re doing it.

If you are derailing your goals subconsciously, you’ll never even be aware of what you’re doing that’s holding you back.

5) What’s one thing you want to STOP doing in the year ahead?

Creating change in our life and business isn’t just about pursuing what we want, it also includes removing the habits, thoughts, and actions that hold us back from being at our best. A “stop doing” list (in this case, the #1 thing you want to stop doing) is an equally powerful goal.

Now let’s make this interesting…

How many of your answers to those questions are DejaVu Goals/Issues? – meaning, they were on your list at the start of this year, and the year before, and the year before that?

No judgment. I’ve been there many times!

If you’re tired of talking about making these things happen and you’re ready to start creating them in your life and business, let’s talk.

I can’t promise I’ll have space for another client, but I can promise I can add tremendous value to you in a single conversation.
